Vivaldi Wine Dinner at Shiloh Manor Farm

  • Shiloh Manor Farm 14781 Berlin Turnpike Purcellville, VA, 20132 United States (map)

Join us at Shiloh Manor Farm for an unforgettable evening of Baroque music, fine dining, and spring celebration as the Wheatland Concert Series presents Baroque Strings for Spring, honoring the timeless music of Antonio Vivaldi.

A virtuoso string quartet with harpsichord will perform selections from Vivaldi’s legendary masterpiece The Four Seasons, including the vibrant and evocative Spring and Summer concerti. Few works of classical music capture the imagery and emotion of nature as vividly as these famous compositions, which depict birdsong, thunderstorms, flowing streams, and the energy of the changing seasons.

Composed in 1723 and published in 1725, The Four Seasons remains one of the most celebrated works of the Baroque era. Vivaldi’s groundbreaking violin writing and vivid musical storytelling helped define the concerto form and continue to inspire audiences nearly three centuries later.

The performance will be paired with a chef-curated wine dinner prepared by Chef Ian of Magnolias at the Mill. The evening’s menu has been designed to complement the elegance of Baroque music and the freshness of the spring season.
